Beer Fest Design Contest

Every year Decatur opens up a contest to create a logo for their annual craft beer festival. I decided to go for it this year and enter a design. I've been really into watercoloring lately (oh, childhood memories!) so I decided to incorporate that into my design. Keep your fingers crossed! The winner takes home $300, 2 tickets to the festival, and 2 t-shirts and of course bragging rights and the design plastered all over posters, t-shirts, tasting glasses, and more! :)

Making it happen

Trying to stay positive today after a stressful, things not going quite my way past two weeks. I'm trying to remember that things happen for a reason, and all good things come in time. I've always wanted to fast forward my life as long as I can remember. So today I am determined to start to make things happen for myself and my wanna be business. I'm going to stop wishing and comparing my life to others and make it happen!

New Portfolio

I finally decide to create an online portfolio to showcase my designs and photography. I want to become more motivated to hopefully start up my own design company making prints and creative invitations, etc. to go along with my already born photography company!

Happy Valentines day to all! I got the best Valentines surprise in that my design made it to the Bloomingdales website! I'm so excited to be publish for the world to see! My handwritten message+ chalkboard background+ pink= love it! :)

Handwritten

My handwriting made it into the September home Bloomingdales catalog! I'm so excited I may try to turn it into a font the creative director loved it so much! :) yay! After all the years of disliking my handwriting it is now published!

Columbus Day Catalog

I had two contributions to the Bloomies Columbus Day catalog! I am so excited to have my first cover published as well as a stitch that I completely designed and art directed! :)

Starbucks insert I was the creative lead/designer on! :) 

Chalkboard jars—

I handmade these chalkboard "labels" for jars to store all of my homemade goodies that I've been experimentally making. I've made hummus and peanut butter so far... My next attempts will be nutella, ketchup, and who knows what else! I wanted a cute way to show off my creations :)
